Some History from Kreuzberg…

KREUZBERGED - BERLIN COMPANION

RESTAURANT "ZUR LINDE" AT KOTTBUSSER TOR IN BERLIN-KREUZBERG (mid-19th century) RESTAURANT “ZUR LINDE” AT KOTTBUSSER TOR IN BERLIN-KREUZBERG (mid-19th century)

This small restaurant or rather an inn used to stand on the corner of Skalitzer- and Admiralsstrasse 38 in SO36 at the old Kottbusser Tor.

If you don’t dance – No Romance!

One more music thread. Without question a wonderful song, but the video is even better. The facial expression, the glamour of that time! Sometimes, while watching an old black&white movie the presentation of the actors seems to be too far away, like out of time. But here I don’t feel the same. The facial expressions are so flimsy but also so expressive. I feel like slipping into the stream and just DANCE!
